For a 6.5 that seems undergeared for a 2wd car. I'd expect something more like 78/22.

Well it's ok for a bonded magnet. Slightly low but it's a rather short track. I mailed Tekin and they told me to reduce timing to 15. Now it's working fine.

as long as you either get the hotwire and update it, or know someone with a hotwire, and update it, there is no need for extra caps or a fan, although it may be worth getting a spare cap, just in case.

You dont need fans on them but a few of us are running one infront of the posts, especially on a hot day on high grip/grass tracks etc.. Just helps to keep things a bit cooler. Failing that just point the solder posts towards the air vents on the bodyshell and job done. Never had a cap go on me but i guess it would never hurt to have one spare.

What happens when they overheat, do they permanently die or just switch off until cool?

Doubt I'd fit a fan near the solder posts, and also wouldn't be able to get them near an air hole!

95p shipping. You just get the case top and bottom with decal and the four screws.

I ran it yesterday, 5.5, and my fan is there to remind me the lipo is plugged in, it does no cooling, and I am lucky to see 3-4 temp LED's on.

What settings do you recommend for an RS Pro with a 7.5T Losi motor in a Cat SX LIPO?

Just need to fix the brake issues on my XXCR too.

Cheers,
