I think you would gain more from learning how to work out your gear ratio for yourself.

Spur / pinion X internal ratio

Once you let us know what car you have, we can tell you the internal ratio (although Google would be quicker..!) and from there you can figure out what pinion/spur to use for any given ratio. So the real question would be "what ratio should I be using for a 10.5?"

B4.1 manual recommends 24t pinion for a 10.5t motor running 81t spur for a starting gear ratio !!!

(for some reason B4.1ft manual states the gear ratio for 81/24 for a 10.5t motor will give you 8.42 FDR !!!)

Heres how to calculate the gear ratios

Spur gear 81 divided by pinion gear 24 multiplied by the internal gear box ratio 2.6:1 = Final Drive Ratio (FDR) 8.775 (or 8.78)

81 / 24 x 2.6 = 8.775 (or 8.78)

Check instructions that came with motor as it might have its own preferred gear ratio !!!

The B4 manual is stating a 19t pinion for a 10 turn BRUSHED motor...............

The B4.1 manual shows a 24t pinion for a 10.5 turn BRUSHLESS as a starting point..............

EDIT: what motor are you running ???
