Default Supplied with Kit ?

Hi, I am about to purchase a Cougar KF2 SE, what would I need to assemble it apart from the obvious nut drivers, and allen drivers. Is any shock oil, grease, diff oil supplied? I really want to get everything (including any upgrades ?) tomorrow so I can spend the next week building it and start to learn everything Thanks MC

Hi,
I've bought two KF2SE kits to run this year, last two years I've run the KF

The kit is supplied with grease, locktight and oils to get you going, but most run different oils etc to suit the track conditions

The shock oil that's supplied is 35wt
The diff oil that's supplied is 12500cst
Moly Grease is also in the kit.

I run CoreRC Oil's, for the front shocks between 500-600cst, the rear's between 350-450cst ( so would advise getting some oils if you intend racing )

In the Diff I run between 5000 to 20000cst oil depending on condition's

Now upgrades, the only real upgrade needed ( I believe to start with ) are the 5° Front Alloy Caster Blocks and the Alloy Rear Gearbox Uppers to allow you to run the rear shocks on the rear of the car. The other upgrades are for choice and bling

Have a great time building the kit and racing it, Schumacher make great cars, customer service is second to none..

Enjoy

Thank you for your reply.

I will need to order more oil for the shocks have only gone to 400.

Am going to be racing on med astro with concrete and tarmac areas with a few big jumps.

Is it worth getting the rear anti roll bar kit.

Also what would I need to fit slim shorty Intellect 3500 cells ?

Thanks

MC

I wanted to get Orion Cells, but have no chance of getting any before tomorrow. I think IP 3500 Slims cells should be great, just have to pad them out somehow.

What surfaces are you running on to use that much heavy oil ? Are you using the 3 hole pistons. This is another thing. I really want to get all the tuning options before I build the car. Thanks MC
