yeah! unfortunately the spares prices aren't inline with the kit price!!

If the shell looks good then i think you may be shifting quite a lot of these!

i'm guessing he's made them himself as the originals are so expensive. good luck to him, awaiting photos!

I use a Proline Vortex RB-5 shell on mine as it gives a lot more room for a brushless esc with fan which the mad rat shell lacks
And it comes with 2 wings
Add a bit of velcro around the middle and away you go.

looks good.
would it be possible to add a "scoop" on the right hand side where the speedo sits? allowing a bit more height for the speedo and also more air in?
not sure if this could be added to the mould for the next batch of shells?

Glad you like it, as the shells develop I will add certain changes to help cooling for the ESC and make it look slightly different to the original but to be fair I run a Nosram Matrix Evolution with out fan and a 7.5 Losi motor and havent found any heat issues yet,

I must admit since buying the car I never thought I would get hooked in this class, 2WD seems to suit my driving style as I also run a Cyclone C12 at national level, just wish the car had come out sooner so I could have more summer running time ( if you can call it a summer, mostly moist with dry bits in between) cant wait for next summer now as the winter will be taken up with 12th nationals over the winter, I might have to find some indoor meetings to run it at but it just isnt the same on carpet, grass is where it needs to be!!! look out for the Crazy Rat at a meeting near you!!! this Saturday will be more or less its last race at Hinckley RCCC before we go indoors.
