Default Laptop to TV

Currently I use a rgb cable for play back on the TV and have to use the laptop for sound. Laptop has usb, s-video, rgb outputs.
The TV has only rgb & hdmi

Are there any cables I can use to get sound output through the TV speakers?

i use a vga cable male to male and a audio cable 3.5mm jack m to m, both at home and at work..

You can also use 3.5 male to coaxial (left & right) for most tvs.

same audio cable but use HDMI cable instead of VGA, i used to use VGA but then decided whats the point of HD tv and HD laptop then use VGA cable doh

my laptop doesn't have hdmi output so will just have to use the audio cable
