Laptop to TV
Currently I use a rgb cable for play back on the TV and have to use the laptop for sound. Laptop has usb, s-video, rgb outputs.
The TV has only rgb & hdmi Are there any cables I can use to get sound output through the TV speakers? Dell Inspriion 1720 manual LG42PX3RV info

i use a vga cable male to male and a audio cable 3.5mm jack m to m, both at home and at work..

You can also use 3.5 male to coaxial (left & right) for most tvs.
