We thought it best to update you on what is happening at DPMR.
Right, as you know we have been bringing you what we thought was the best cell on the market, rightly or wrongly our cells have won all the major BRCA sanctioned titles in 4cell form, we even won the stockcar worlds this year when Mr Harding used a set of our cells to power him to victory.
BUT, over the last 10 months we have seen a drop in quality and performance from the cells we have had delivered. We have had to work extra hard to find these rogue/poor performing cells to stop them making it to you the customer, but unfortunately there have been escapes leading to failures in use which we have dealt with as soon as we could.
We have a huge box of batteries that have destroyed themselves on the matcher and some that wouldnt even charge at the start of the process, the first time this happened we questionned PowerBoy and were given the run around for weeks saying it was our matchers, or zapping technique, which we knew it couldnt be and finally the truth came out, old stock 4800's had been supplied nicely re-wrapped in 4600 shrink to make up our order. These were duly binned and a second batch ordered which when matched were what we asked for. Not so long ago it happened again which when questionned the 2nd time it happened turned out we were supplied with standard 5300mah cells which they helpfully re-wrapped and didnt tell us because they didnt have time to meet our order.
To top it all we now seem to have to wait 3-4weeks for our orders to be processed and sent to us before we can get matching and get them to you. Couple that with 3 price rises in the last 18months, which havent been passed on to you has made this a very expensive year for myself and Darren.
How can we deal with a company like that??
Now the good news is, we have been testing lots behind the scenes, trying to find a comparible product or something better and we found it, not comparable, but better!
New cells will be in stock before christmas is here, the website is currently down for this update in product line but we are hoping to have it back up and ready for you in the next 7-10 days (providing our web monkey is not too drunk from christmas do's!)
Pricing has changed slightly, but early next year before the race season kicks off, everyone on our database of customers will be receiving an email from us with an offer. I wont say right now what that offer is, but hopefully it will bring a nice little smile to your wonderful faces and provide you with another years racing under our power.
