Why wait.. you can order it overseas and still get it quicker and cheaper than what most shops will be selling them for in the U.S.

Just think the yen to dollar has the best it has been in a few years so it's around 102~105 Yen to the Dollar. so you might be getting the kit for around 500$~515$ shipping should not break the bank and would only take 10~14 days tops or you can pay for EMS if you want it quicker

Wonder if they will have a Ti screw set available at time of release, or if the 511 set will work....

I would think that 95% of the screws from a TRF511 are the same ..

I would be willing to bet that HediSan over at CHAMP is already turning Ti screw sets for 503 right now as we speak...

Lucky Bastard! I have to wait for my friend who fly's to Japan every other month. I think he might be leaving for Tokyo next week. I should have him stop by at CHAMP for me.

Otherwise I have to wait for April.

Any shops out there that have the 503 on the website?

Would be intersting to see what the european price is going to be.

Seidel in Germany has the car on the site but no price yet.

Problem with Tamiya is they dont use good materials and then slop is stupid after a short period of time plus the cost is stupidly expensive and spares are hard to come by and have to be bought from abroad. Not worth it.

Ow hello, mister Tamiya hater.

I'm sure someone, somewhere will value you opinion but I doubt anyone here will give a %$#@ about it.

So, please be so kind to leave this topic if you don't like it.

I believe someone´s been the happy owner of a Striker in the past If your view was less rant and more constructive I would've agreed on it that the TRF201 is somewhat brittle in places (the front end mainly), but I gained that experience in my rookie year, which explains more than half of the breakages...

Anyway, cool to hear the 503 is already arrived in Europe. I can't wait to see it in the flesh!

Is the production version of the 503 coming with an aluminum chassis, or will it be carbon graphite?

Aluminium chassis. :-) undertray and wing included, but no body.

BTW, which body will fit? I saw phantom was released for b44.2. I wonder if it works for 503 too. It would look good side by side with my 201xr phantom.

The Pro-Line Phantom will work on all the TRF 4wd buggy series if you look closely at the front of the Phantom body that was used by Marc R at the most recent Reedy Race you will see it has cut lines for the B44.2

I think that there are a few other options out there for body's for the TRF 503 once it comes out... pretty much anything that will fit the B44.2 should fit the TRF503 as well.. . as well as a few makers in Japan that have bodies for the 511 that are not cab forward
