Default G-Force TS160 and Progbox

Hi Guys,

just tried to program my new TS160 with the G-Force Progbox but it fails to connect, I have tried every option of bits connected and disconnected, radio on and off and a different connection lead but no joy.

Any ideas?

I think that maybe the same speedo As a guy at our club has. He had the same issue, if I'm correct then the program box may need updating with the latest software.

Default TS160 and Progbox

Hi tcboy,

thank you for that reply and I did suspect that may be a possible cause, trouble is I don't have a suitable USB cable at the moment to interface with the Progbox so I must pursue that avenue now.

Thanks again and regards, John

Default G-Force TS160 and Progbox

Well guys,

I found a suitable USB lead and connected everything up as the instructions state, software already downloaded onto PC, Progbox saying connected to PC, so switch on the esc and same problem, the Progbox says connection failed and this stops the software from running with the screen graphic saying esc is disconnected, you cannot get into the software update section at all for the Progbox to download this first.

If you try to download the software just connected to the Progbox it wants to connect to the esc.

I am totally lost on this one!

Default G-Force TS160 and Progbox

Hi again tcboy,

yes the G-Force link software I have downloaded is v2.07! I have also deleted it and reloaded it a number of times too!

On start up the Progbox says it is at v1.08 when plugged into either the esc or the computer.

The esc software version I obviously don't know as I cannot get it to connect to either the Progbox on its own or when connected to the PC via the Progbox!

I'm really stumped on this one! Regards, John
