Default cat xls and kyosho salute

hi i have a cat xls and kyosho salute (will post pics later on). Iam just wondering how old these models are. iam guessing the salute is old due to the fact its a chain driven car. The xls has the crash back front arms and one way bearings in the front driveshafts.

On the subject of Salutes, I took out my old Salute today at Eden Park Raceway for some practice in the rain.

It's SO stable and predictable - it ran rings around my brother's rb5 in the wet conditions.

Sure, lots of that stability and predictability comes from being slow with the old 240st motor and lots of mass, but hey - it was a pleasure to drive.

Nice!
