Default Transponder Position

Im just getting back into electric off road after 20 years, now i feel really old . Im fitting all the electrics in my cat sx & was just looking where to position the transponder, looking at the pictures of other peoples cats most seem to fit them on the steering servo, but this seems a bit tight on the linkage with the amb transponder. so will it work if it sits on the top deck just behind the pulleys ?.

Sean.

i have mine on the topdeck just behind the pulleys without issue. as you are local to the s/e either pop to forcc on a wednesday or epr on the first sunday of any month and there will be a lot of cat drivers willing to lend a hand and any advise you need

I put mine on a foot long stick which points out of the front of the car to help me win!

As long as you keep it away from the receiver by a bit it'll be fine though.

put it on top of the servo on it's edge with abit of velcro/double sided then when you put the shell on it traps it between the top deck and the shell if i remember rightly think thats how i did it on mine anyway definatly had it on top of the servo though
