Tekin RS and Novak 6.5
Just wired my spare Tekin RS in my B44.1 due to unreliable Novak Kinetic.
The RS is rated down to 5 turn so it should be ok with the 6.5 right? No timing advance standard settings? Realize it will run a little hotter than my tourer with a 13.5 but its within limits Will test at Batley tomorrow Any thoughts? |

The regular RS is only limited down to a 5T in a 2wd application. In the b44 you will likely thermal the unit. This is the job for an RS Pro.

Best chance is to stick a fan pointing to the solder posts to help keep things cooler. Plenty of room in a B44 so that shouldnt be an issue. Just keep an eye on the temp lights.

Guys, servo taped a fan and dropped the gearing to 19/84 and it ran fine at Rodinhood tonight!
Still gonna get an RS pro though me thinks and use this RS in the 22 when I get it! Cheers |

Good Job
and yes, the pro will be the much better option, although you may be ok with the RS through the colder winter months. Did you notice how many lights you had lit on the speedo ?
