Default disposing of a swollen lipo in west yorkshire

Hi one of my saddle battery packs has swollen only had it 6 months from new.

How do I safely recycle it in west yorkshire is the a recycling center anywhere?

Put it in a jar of heavily salted water,give it a week to discharge then put it in box for the bin,we have a seperate box for batteries in the recycling,never had any problem with this method.

The problem with this is that a deeply discharged Lithium Polymer cell is more likely to swell. There is no need to perform this task.
