Default Core Code TX steering servo adjustment

Hi all,

I'll explain what I'm looking to do.

My Tamiya M05 Mini is very sensitive on the steering and some guys seem to do better by slowing the servo down by way of exponential adjustment. I've looked at the settings of my TX and read the manual but am unsure of the correct adjustment procedure as there is an EPA setting and D/R etc etc. so I'm looking for the same amount of lock, but less travel from my thumb input, if that makes sense.

Which feature am I looking for?

Cheers all

5: ST_CURV

Then says ST_EXP

If you want to slow the response in the middle of the stick you need a negative setting.

You can also adjust servo speed function 14

Thank you.

So on the ST EXP, it's set at 0, I would reduce this by a - figure of how much as a start would you think, 20?

And also I see under the ST EXP it has the letter B. What would that be for?

Thanks!

If you want less travel from your thumbs, short the sticks. I did this on my TX by replacing the top part of the stick with knurled M3 nuts installed upside down.
