new Castor blocks give constant steering right through the turn made it feel very positive on or of power

Tried both the 7.5 deg castor blocks and new in-line steering arms today indoors at Rd 1 of the Telstar Winter Series.
7.5 castor blocks gave a very even steering input from turn in to exit. This enabled me to run new front tyres on what was in places a very high grip track, by taking the razor sharp turn in away and then giving more grip mid to exit. In-line steering arms also had a positive affect on the front end giving a very "connected" and even steering feel. Both parts felt better and proved so on the watch, looked the business also. This is exactly what I found too having tested them last wk end-tons of initial-very little mid/exit steering. I tried the std 0 deg, 5 deg and 7.5deg back to back. I was using the std trailing steering arms. Let the debate begin lol

So more caster gives gives more in but less mid and exit ?
What does the 'in line' axle do for cornering ? |

Inline makes more agressive, more directly steering.
I'm also a bit confused, because usually more caster (more °) means more offpower steering, and less caster (less °) more onpower steering. But it allways depends on car.

Always found that more caster gives less off power steering...and less initial turn in off power. The more the hub is standing up...less caster... The more off power there is. More caster...leaning back... is usually better at higher speeds and high speed sweeping turns as well as better handling in the bumps. Always a trade off but im loving the 7.5s. They feel real smooth and tamed the car loads. Just installed the inlines as well. Will see what those do.
