I don't think baby wipes are a particularly effective cleaner. I use lighter fluid.
Having said that, I just leave my tyres as they came off the track at the end of each meeting, and they last ages. It might be a motor/setup/driving style/track specific thing though - maybe the problem is you, not the tyres! |

Try not cleaning them and only putting additive on at the start of the evening and only on the front or rear depending on where you need the traction on the car.
What does everyone else at your track do? |

Hi,
Maybe its just the tyres coming away from the rim and making you slide. Try re gluing the edges every couple of runs should make the car more consistent and remove the sliding. Brake Clean the tyres straight after the run and let dry. Apply the Additive on Rear tyres for about 15 minutes Apply the Additive on Front tyres for about 5 minutes before the run. Make sure the Tyres are dry when going out to race Hope this Helps Matt
