What is your 210 battery set-up?
What battery do you use in your 210?
Where do you place it in the car? Front, middle back? Pictures would be good Thanks, G

Shorty, to the back! And then a copper sheet starting at the front of the motor, all the way to the servo.
Lowers centre of gravity, keeps overall weight the same, allows you to adjust shorty back and forward to suit. At the rear position it creates a 63% rear weight bias which is a lot more rear bias than kit (think stock config with stick pack is about 61%?)

I use a Turnigy nano tech 4200 shorty set back in MM4 config.

Shorty in the back, electronics all in-line (except for PT and receiver), Cream battery stopper.
http://www.petitrc.com/setup/durango...ndonk20130727/ In first instance I did it out of necessity to fit the ESC (luckily I already used Shorty packs). However, it also turns out to work very well! I really don't understand why people run weight in the front end of their 210...perhaps I just run on too low bite tracks for that to work. |

I am running mostly on carpet at moment with my 210 so i have been running with a shorty fully forwards.
With leaving the electrics in the side pods still you can move the shorty pack from front to back easily and i just made a load of foam spacers up of different sizes. I am also currently using the Turnagy nano-tech shorty. IMG_4831.jpg

Interesting the amount of people running shorties. I thought I was one of the only ones doing this!

Kenny you may of found the full lipo better because of the weight. With my shorty I've added the weight underneath to bring it back up Would recommend trying that too!

Depends on the track.
But I generally run a shorty in the middle with esc behind. Traction is reduced though... get away with it on flat astro tracks.
