Default Digital scales

I am after some digital scales to ensure weighing diff' etc after rebuilds are always the same with fluid levels etc.

Should I be getting something that will also weigh the entire car weight (1:10th off road) ?

I can only find hudy and much more scales so far which aren't cheap, are they any better than cheap stuff on eBay ?

Appreciate people's views please

Fill your diffs up to midway between the top of the crosspiece and the top of the planetary gear. It wont need to be that accurate, you wont notice any difference. No need for scales, this is off-road, not snoring cars.....lol.

If you buy this sort of equipment from a RC manufacturer you will be paying a premium. Something cheap off ebay will be fine. If you want to weigh diffs make sure the scales can do 0.1 of a gram.

Look for Jewellery scales on ebay, they can be had for less than a tenner and measure 1/100 of a gram.
