Default Help! Need idiots guide to flex brace

Hi All

I have the flex brace on a 410 i recently purchased. I want to set to max flex. It would appear to have the least compression/most flex without any washers underneath. Is this correct? Also do i do the screw right up? This seems to squash the rubber grommet quite a lot. I am using alloy sidepods if it makes any difference

cheers

dave
