Default Legal Short Course truck

This is a question for TQ racing , I've seen mention of the Short Course truck kit being changed to be the right size, assuming you had the original kit (like I do) what parts are changing? the front nose plates, the arms to truck ones? and the body I guess? is that right?

I did some work with the version you have here in the US. We are waiting for the factory for the final version but yes, wider stance probably the truck arms, longer wheelbase will be done mostly through chassis I would think. Wider body and much taller body mounts.

The 4w is the big project right now. Then the SC.

Ok sounds good , also did I read it correctly that it'll be a kit to transform a buggy or a truck into one? like the "too short" version was.

I was thinking if there were inexpensive kits to convert a buggy into stadium truck or either into a short course. Well anything into anything, that would be kinda cool. Or a kit to convert the 10s of thousands of Madrats Ansmann have sold into a legit race buggy (shocks/bearings/clear body) would also be a good seller. Having those kind of things available would be a good way to get those and the rtr cars and owners into racing and populate 10th scale racing some more

Interesting idea. An upgrade kit might be possible, but the true question is the cost. Can it be done more effectively than just buying the required part numbers.

I threw a lot of parts at the prototype I ran, but except for the SC cage, nothing was specially made it was all off the shelf. Again, keeps the cost under control.
