I have got a small kink in the needle but its on the very end (probably about .5mm from the end of it). but its fine when there is more paint in the nozzle.
Its when I clean it out that it happens. Its as if the dried paint in the nozzle is blocking the air from coming back. As soon as its clean then it draws the air back.?!
Its a strange one.

The kink in the needle doesn't affect the brush really apart from sometime spraying in funny directions. But I've tried another needle and it still draws air in.

Mine is a Badger 200 also. I think my problems are my compressor, its very old and I have no idea if it is suitable. Tel, do you thin your Fascolour at all or use it direct? I have always used it direct (using the bottle adapters so i dont need to decant it into other bottles). I find that when i spray, the amount of paint coming out gradually gets less and less so i have to open the nozzle, spray the wall for a bit, then close it up again until its back at the setting i started with... any ideas?

I generally don't thin it. But I have the same problem with it. Usually when I open the nozzle and spray on the wall, it just ends up the same by the time I get the shell to paint onto, and the paint won't come out, which has ended up in a few shells flying across the room in temper.
If i do thin any I use the clear windolene.

My main 'problem colour' is fasred. this seems to clogg in the airbrush really bad. white sometime gives me jipp but not as bad.

I'm wondering wether it is my airbrush.

.....by the way, can I have my own section on here jimmy? :-)

i dont find the need much to thin faskolor when doing larger spaces. i spray it at about 75 psi. i do thin it when doing details though. i mix a 50/50 mix of water and windolene. i think the water helps the actual thinning process and the windolene acts to help with tip dry.

as far as having ur own thread tel, im sure itd be cool. im sure we'd all like to see some of your stuff. also, sorry if it offended anyone that i started my own thread without asking first.

thanx,

jon

It's ok I was only joking.

I've got enough work on at the moment, and having the flu, really can't be arsed.

...bloody illnesses.

mmmmm.... manga schoolgirls hahaha
anyway.. first attempt at a granite type effect.
also wanted to seperate the black lines of the character from the black body, so just did some subtle fire/smoke type effect. was gonna do it red but then thought itd probably clash with the red in her boots/hair etc
thanx,
jon
