CR2 newbie
Hi all. Ive just bought a used CR2 off of here. Currently its LHD, but I dont have a capable speedo. It comes with the parts to make it RHD. Should I do that or do the idler gear mod? I'm not sure of the pros and cons of these methods. Thanks in advance. Also, any tips re setup? I'll obviously be running indoors for the next few months(carpet/mixed). Cheers.

Topic about (dis)advantages of LHD with idler mod and RHD. There are a few set-ups in the Atomic Carbon section here, posted by Simon Reeves, Danny McGee and me, have a look at those. A few of them are posted on Petit RC: http://www.petitrc.com/setup/atomicc...CarbonCR2.html The base set-up on the Atomic Carbon website is great, try that. |

Converted gearbox to RHD today. Very easy job. Thanks for the step by step on the AC website. It went together beautifully. I'm really pleased with this car so far. Cant wait to run it. Gonna fit radio tonight and set it up tomorrow. Debut on wed night at Mansfield I think. Good times.

Plenty of time, I finished building mine 15 minutes before the start of the race (this is called the Manolis-effect) and qualified 3rd, the car feels like you have been driving it for years
