Default What car just for bashing????

Hi, not sure if this is in the right forum but I was wanting some advice. I'm selling all my Schumacher 1/8 nitro stuff Menace and GTR and just want an electric car for messing around with.

I've looked at the Tamiya Avante 2011 which looks ok but can you guys suggest something thats tough. I 'm not going to race it and not too fussed on budget at moment. I have a brushless motor and Novak GTB ESC to go in but car choice open to your suggestions.

Ideally 4WD buggy, strong drivetrain, 1/10th

Should I be looking at last seasons race cars or are they built not to be crashed?

regards Richard

Disregard the Avante if you are bashing, it's a beautiful piece of engineering but it's as fragile as an eggshell. Short course trucks like the SC10 and Blitz are a good bet, or the Ansmann Mad Monkey buggy. Race cars, current or "last years" are not meant to be crashed at all really, although I think you mean can they stand up to abuse. They can to a degree but it's not really their thing, they are machines for a certain purpose ie, racing. I mean, you could go off-roading in a Ferrari but you just wouldn't.

Just reread your post, maybe an SC10 4x4 or an Ftx Vantage would suit.

Traxxas Slash 2WD should be a good option.

Default Traxxas

ANY Traxxas vehicle are great for bashing. lost count the amount of mates who have them and they get trashed and still keep going, not to mention a lot are waterproof too (apart from 4x4 Slash as its Castle Mambe which isn't waterproof which is a shame). Been tempted myself many times at getting a 1/10 car but happy enough with my mini e revo missile VXL
