Default How Longs safe between colours/coats?

How long is safe to leave between coats of paint? I want to start a shell later tonight (Thursday) but then won't be able to get back to it till Sunday. I'll do a couple of colours tonight and leave the rest protected by Liquid Mask...... Does it matter that the first colour will dry out completely before laying down adjacent colours? Will I have problems removing the Liquid Mask?

No problems as all!

There is no real maximum or minimum time.

I normally do a shell in one go drying with the heat gun between coats.
but other times I may do half the shell & leave it a week or so.

You'll be fine, if anything it's better to leave some sections to dry completely before removing the next sections...

Liquid mask will be fine too, it's only if you leave it for weeks the cut lines start to bond back together I find.

Good luck.
