The good old days are back
Over 50 drivers at a mid-week meeting not bad.
Some time ago Martyn put a thred on here asking what could be done to help safeguard the future of are sport. Well what can i say apart from nothing it,s doing just fine in the southeast. Eden Park have just held what most would say is the best venue on the national calendar and i think we run what must be one of the best 1/10 off road clubs going. When we started the club some 24 years ago we used to get some 70 drivers or so crammed into are little hall, and i must admit i thought we would never see this again but ha ho its mid summer people on hols or out and about and still we are getting these sort of numbers. We in the southeast are doing just fine and i,m sure its because we have a great club like ours where the drivers can find there feet in the racing world and then move onto Eden park to take there driving to the next level if they so choose. So in my opinion big pat on the back of the southeast region. Kind regards Alan. |
