Default Servo's for V12

but which one?

is the Savox 1251 LPS OTT or jus about right?

which others should I consider?

You can try a Perfex KS 1401 servo,I use them in all my V12's. They were designed for the 1/8th Inferno off-road buggy,so they have plenty of torque,around 6kg,and are as tough as old boots. Blacksmith products used to stock them.

I use an old futaba s9550 servo. Good speed and torque and its quite small too.

settled for the Savox 1251 for now

do have a 9650 and other 12th pancar servo's I could try though

How are you finding the 1251? I like Savox servos in general as they tend to have plenty of torque and this one is no exception. The only problem I find is that it is a *tiny* bit on the slow side. Maybe that's just me...
