Velcro body hold on
Hi does anyone use velcro to hold your body shells on, I think this would be easier on my KF2 as the body is very tight anyway. Also what is a decent replacement screw set supplier as I have lost a couple over my first weekend racing would need the recessed washer and maybe a couple of wheel nuts too just in case.

Hello, I always use Velcro on my buggies as it allows you to take them off and on quickly, also helps keep the muck out as I usually run on grass. I run it all the way down the side pods.
Not sure about a screw set but MB models is where I go for all my Schumacher spares 😁 Cheers. |

All my 10ths use velcro only
8ths use velcro to keep the crap out of the body cavity. |

I have used velcro on nearly all my 10th off road cars. The only time is tends to fail is when water gets in between the shell and the velcro strip. A quick dry off and clean then apply a new strip and its good to go again.

I use 3M dual lock nowadays. It's super strong click and easy to clean when it gets mucky with grass.

can someone point me at some decent velcro, the stuff i got of ebay is usless as the sticky backing isn't strong enough to hold it onto the car when you pull the velcro apart?

I recently used this Schumacher velcro on both my 2wd and 4wd shells.
https://rccarshop.co.uk/accessories/...-2metrex16mm-p Had no issues with it, velcro stays stuck to the shells |
