Default Tarmac tyre choice for Cat (rev-lite dish wheels)

Hi all,

Im looking for a decent set of tyres which will be a straight fit for the standard Schumacher Rev-Lite dish wheels.

Its something that will grip well, but not wear quickly on tarmac.
Im going through too many mini-spike tyres at the moment when racing on the road/tarmac tracks near me; so a good alternative would be fantastic.

Thanks for the help and suggestions!

P.S. my Cat doesnt run hex wheel adapters, just the standard pin type wheels.

Hey Mick - thakns for the help mate.
I actually laughed out loud when I saw them, cause Dirt Hawgs are on of my fav tyres - been using them for about a year now on my old Tamiya 4WD.

I wasnt sure that they would fit the Rev-Lites though, as they seem a little smaller than the 2.2" Prolines - maybe thats just Schumachers weird "12x20" thing they have printed on their tyres that is throwing me - Im not even sure I know what 12 x 20 means!

So the Prolines will definately fit the rev-lites?

Thanks again!
P.S. racing in Dublin? I'll have to come down sometime and see the setup if thats ok?

Yep the dirt hawgs will fit 2.2 wheels. I've a set somewhere on B4 rims.

12 x 20 is the number of spikes on the tyre. 12 along diagonal (from left to right) and 20 around the circumference.

Dublin: as Tony said more than welcome to come down to any of the race days. Have a check of the club website. But generally there is racing every Sunday.
