Default Novak Kinetic owners...

Hello All,

I'm considering getting a Novak Kinetic. I recently heard that there maybe issues using it with 2.4GHz radios. I've also seen a few references on other forums to them being quite fragile electronically, particularly with the Nova Link.

Any Ooplers out there that could share their Kinetic experiences either good or bad?

Cheers,
Jon.

p.s I'm not looking for a 'Don't get that, get this' thread please

Ive been running a Kinetic for about 6 months in my 4wd and had no problems at all. It has massive punch and very good top end too. I never tried the Novalink, but setting it up via the button was easy enough.

p.s, its also now available for sale if your interested. Will post shortly in the for sale section.

I've a Kinetic in 2 & 4wd. Really happy with them.

Very adjustable, especially using the NovaLink.

I'm very happy with mine! Super smooth bottom end and very adjustable. I'm doing everything with just the button at the moment and can change anything I feel I need to

No issues with the latest Sanwa 2.4Ghz gear I'm running.

Do you think maybe he was doing something to them?? Seems a bit of a coincidence! I have seen a few now, and no problems yet.

Thank you all for your replies

You seem to confirm what I've read/heard elsewhere. Performance wise the Kinetic seems excellent but the reliability is questionable (even if in some cases it may be user error causing the faults). I'm going to ponder on this a little bit longer before making the leap of faith

Cheers,
Jon.
