Default Front end heavy

Hey guys just wondering. Finally got my parts for the Schumacher and got to run it this week. Handled not too bad but I am finding the front end really dives even on rolling jumps.
Running fairly basic setup. I am wondering if running the saddle pack configuration would be better for our track.

Very tight low traction dusty track. The X6's run very well there.

Just find it odd the balance is so far to the front?

Thanks

I tired the saddlepack layout yesterday.. it was a little better on our 3 double jumps, but I will work further with the standard layout because there is a mess in the car wires/cables in the car...
I was also test the standard layout with a 115gram lead underneth the chassis (on rearend part), that was really good!! so I will contuine with standard layout and 115g lead and try with a little more weight on rear maybe the trishbits rear brass item or a lead plate under the half of the battery in rearend. The car was much more set with the lead.

note: front arms reversed and rear arm is 2mm cut off to moving more forward.

Cheers. So can anyone tell me what a good starting point for gearing Speed Passion V3's;
6.5
7.5
8.5
& 9.5 on dirt that is(if it makes much difference)
Also what ESC settings to start with & what software to use on the Speed Passion GT2.0
I'm using these with the Speed Power 5800mah 55c & i've got 2 fans mounted in there, one on ESC the other directing towards the motor. The main problem i have is keeping stuff cool. So what is a good temp read too?

Many thanks,
Brodie.

I'm using a speed v3 7.5 with a 82 spur and 20 pinion, I sometimes run a 81 if the track is dryed. Oem esc program with the timing set at 7. I get between 160 - 170 degrees. I run holeshots if its dry, step pins when it muddy or caliber's when it dusty. here's a couple of vids

Any idea on gearing for a sintered 6.5 on the standard 83 spur?
What's the benefit behind running the 81?

You can play with weight distribution if you're keeping same FDR, that's the difference.
Other than that - it allows you to use lower FDRs

Default Set up for clay

hello guys,

i´m searching for a set up on a low grip clay track.
in high speed corners there is no problem, but in slow corner you must be so carfully on the gas, otherwise the car turned completly around.

what i changed so far is the 5° alloy rear strap and of course a softer shock setting.
what else can i change for more grip on the rear? other position of the Turnbuckle!?.......need a bit help

so thanks

jens
