Default x6 rear arm broke, used b4 arms... any ideas?

Hey there, I used the b4 arms in the back and I used the tranny height spacers to make up the difference in width of the b4 arms on the chassis side.

I found that they worked however I wanted to know what your thoughts were?

here's the track that we were running on in NY, USA.

I am not sure I understand the purpose of the tranny height spacers in using the B4 arms. Changing the tranny height has no effect on the relation of the arms to the chassis.

The X-6 has unique moulded arms, as the length needed to be different to the B4 arms so they are not interchangeable. Therefore, the B4 arms are redundant on the X-6.

The X-6 is close to legal width, and the B4 arms are longer, therefore putting the B4 arms on would take the width beyond legal, pull the driveshaft out of the outdrive, and is generally not a considered option.

Feel free to show some pictures.

Its good you have managed to complete a days racing, but id recommend carrying more of the right spares. Sorry I can't be much more positive.

Good video by the way, a nice track. Which track is this in NY?

Chris

Default yeah

it's all I had at the time. I have more coming.

I but b4 arms on but they weren't snug on the shaft (tranny side) so I had to keep them from sliding back and forth.

I also did the bk2 trick on the bones and it stopped them from getting too close to falling out.

I'll post some pics (it won't be too soon though.)

Aaah, I understand. So it'll all work together like that, its just the width which will be more.

With my X-6 wishbones, I use the white .030 AE limiters to space the wishbone either back or forward. Two of them each side, and I get no play but the wishbones hangs freely too.
