Default X11 chassis broken

damn!
after a bad landing, i broken the x11 lipo chassis, at the front under the x-brace...
the chassis have the front mod for use the turnbuckle for adjust the ackerman, can this mod reduce the integrity of the chassis at front?

maybe a little, would suggest letting your hamster drive to avoid bad crashes. ;-)

buy a new chassis and forget about the old one

Restimax, Team Xtreme has just moved units and currently dont have a phone line so no internet access... Send me a pm and I'll help you out. Phone line is being sorted some time tomorrow I think.

I too have snapped the chassis after a bad landing but also have bent a drive shaft and bent the blue bit that the steering arms fit too. oops lol.
thing is how oftern did chassis break with out the x brace. cos mine has snapped threw the holes for the brace. has it weakend it removing material for tye holes.
think i might try an alloy chassis . might as well make full use of the cad system and the cnc mills lol

this is a tip for xtreme, because vega do not make same update parts in alu for the pred? chassis, rear upright modified and little other bits....

The original cars used to break around the hole below the spur gear - and that was when the cars were slower, and had suspension that wasn't as robust.

Something has to give when you land hard or hit a track marker at speed...
