Hi !! I'm afraid I am of no use to you, as I've only ever run on astro and grass. Someone will be along shortly to share their wisdom no doubt.

On the front set the car with 0 degrees front toe to begin with and -1 degree of camber, this is a fairly standard starting point for the front of the 22. What tyres are you running? On carpet it's best to go with Schumacher yellow minipins on the rear and yellow minipin fronts for a more direct car or Schumacher yellow low profile cut staggers for a less aggressive, more consistent feel.

Chris
Rears are schuey mini pins Med. and narrow cross cut staggered no inserts on the front. Not ran with these yet but was recommended to me at the track.

Hi there you won't schumacher
yello mini pin rear med insert
yellow low profile staggers on the front no insert and cut rim to narrow
Front springs blue our black
Also take out the insid spacers of your camber link
Shock location middle on tower and out side on arm
Oil 27.5 piston 55
Caster blocks 5deg
Kick 25 shim
Camber 1deg
Toe +1
This should give you all the tern in you need and not be snatchy
If you still won't more steering drop another spring waight
On the rear i always run 2deg camber and out side on arm helps a lot
Hop this helps

I'm a newbee to the 22 as well (in fact, I am a newbee overall only having started racing last summer), on my first outing the 22 was HORRIBLE... However, I later tried this setup:

http://www.petitrc.com/setup/losi/se...dicot20110513/

And it really worked for me! It was great!!!

I suspect it isn't the best setup as it is for carpet as well as wood and I am racing on just carpet. I simply went with it because I had front green and rear white springs. But it does work great compared to what I initially had which basically was like trying to steer a cruise liner!

FWIW, I found that setup to have plenty of steering and it wasn't overly aggressive either. Seemed very easy to control! Despite the fact that I could do with a looser diff...
