Stick that kit pinion mate for an 11/12 maybe go a tooth smaller for a 10.
I'd stick the anti roll bar on aye, i always used one on the bj4 indoors and it helped get it round the corners..

rears are a no for sure due to the ZX5 using hex drives, the fronts might fit but my guess would be no.

I'll check it out tomorrow with some Losi wheels and let you know.

Had my first runs with the ZX-5 at york last night.

Generally really impressed, it was though a bit evil with new mini-pins all round, when it was on the carpet it gripped like hell. Didn't break anything, even with grip rolling at the end of the straight and crashing in style.....

Apart from that, and my terrible driving, it's looks really promising, i'm going to change the kit springs to associated (if they fit) as the kit ones are too soft, especially on the front.

The car looks nice going around the track, seems to sit really nicely and it's very controlable on the slippy floor, you can really throw it into the corners and it seems really well balanced and weighted.

All in all Very impressed, not quite as good as the BJ yet... but for a kit set up straight out of the box it was excellent. Can't wait to try a better set up next week.

By the way, where's the best place to get spares in the UK, as I could do with some, and some wheels ? Ta.

Hey andy, i heard after breaking the pred, rich isherwood ran the zx5 also ? liked it from what i heard.

AE springs fit, just, i have put a bevel on the height adjusters to centralise the springs since they wont go over the adjusters..
still trying to find a spring / oil combo i like. car was sitting right back under acceleration yesterday, i think i have got a bit lost with the setup and need to start again.

Sold the BJ4x4 yesterday to bruce, so I'm commited to the kyosho for now.

Only place i know of locally selling the kyosho stuff is elite in elland/halifax way.. Otherwise i think places like apex, ben racing, microtech, dms, all have stuff in..

Hey up Jimmy.

I hope i'm getting a 'kick-back' on the BJ sale. I told Bruce that you now had a ZX-5 and after Bruce showed me how my BJ should be driven he enquired as to if you would be interested in selling yours, I obviously told him to get in touch through oople.com. I did though say that I thought you'd want to keep it, you being a collector and all, how wrong I was.

I also mentioned oople to 'atomic carbon' my bits should be on their way soon.

Cheques or Payapal is my prefered payment method

Bruce came over to batley to watch on sunday and bullied me by offering me cash!!..
To be honest I almost wish I'd not sold it, its a great car, but I can get another car to review now I guess. :bom:
