Default Venom V2MR competition buggy

Quote:

RC Insider have first pictures of the new Venom V2MR buggy (or VMR2, as it was called yesterday) available. The 2WD buggy that is obviously driven in rear motor configuration (MR = Motor in the Rear) the MR extension could also mean Mid/Rear like in "both configurations are possible? The wide, separate plate under the gear box can mean both and we are confident to find out soon. Other that that the buggy looks clean and simple, with a sleek plastic tub chassis, plastic shock towers, treaded aluminium shock absorbers and a carbon fibre battery plate. By the looks of it Venom seems to try and attract the intermediate-level racer without leaving the pros out in the cold.

Default venom

Big bores look good, although I do detect a TRF 201 top nose plate there I guess just like Ansman...Venom are taking inspiration from other successful platforms?

The Venom gambler SC truck seems to be at the top of the 2wd pack and this looks like a buggy variation, it could be very good.

Yep, I see the Gambler doing well. It is always good to see new or underdog brands getting in the mix with the bigger manufacturers. More power to them I guess

Unless CML (Venom's UK distro) market this as a much cheaper, lower-spec buggy than the B4, I can't see them promoting it much in the UK. They haven't yet imported the Gambler either.
