M11 joins M25 at J27. Unless you are going through London, you will have to use the M25 - sorry!

The lane restrictions have changed now and you can use alll three lanes on the southbound M1 and still get off on to the M25.
It is slowly improving but there may still be queues both ways...

You just never know what it will be like - M1 or M25 but GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

Unless you have access to a helicopter theres really no painless way to get from north of London to Beckenham on a Friday night, I wouldnt advise going through central London though. I wouldnt attempt it & I used to be a courier in central london! Just sit tight on the M25 & make sure you have refreshments and music to ease the frustration...Counting down the hours now

i know the M25 has variable speed limits, in that they pop up the signs sayinng 50mph etc, but i wasn't aware of any speed cameras. Mind you, i always go the Heathrow side, not Dartford.
And i always average above 70!

There are roadworks with average speed cameras from the darford crossing to J3.

50 MPH limit...

Apart from that there are no other permenant cameras to note (that I know of!)

There is always at least 4 mile queue for the dartford crossing on a friday night about 6 PM. It's normal (I do it every other week at that time) it does move tho honest!

P.s. Track looks fantastic!!

the overhead signs saying variable speed limits have average speed cam's behind the signage...if it says 50mph on M25 make sure your doing 50mph, just ask my boss 3 tickets in one journey
