We just got samples in today and noticed that the wheels included are white and not pink. The pink wheels pictured on the kit are for Japan only. We edited our image to reflect the new wheels, and sadly, I think the pink looked better for the stock paint scheme.

I agree with you 100%. They missed the mark for this kit anywhere outside of Japan.

Anything under £150 would be ok for this buggy and will still be a good quality piece of kit.

Maybe the yen price is affecting import costs or something?

Maybe you could get one from japan and hope customs dont open the pack, but after postage from your still looking at £150

RRP £269 for the trf201 which makes the £207 for the plastic one seem a bit high.

That does make the base model seem a bit pointless as well as ugly!

Definitely pointless, who is the target market for it when you can buy a 4WD Durga for £185 Vs 2WD Zahhak £207 (both prices from www.fusionhobbies.com). It needs to be sub £150 in the UK for model shops to sell any.

So pink wheels are Japan only kits Can't think of any other model made by Tamiya where they've changed the wheel colour for different sales regions. Are pink wheels the current trend in Japan?

Looks like, although saying that Craig Harris is running pink wheel disks on his TRF201...

On looking at the front of the Zahhak box on Ebay it says "Bonus Parts Included", just curious to know what they are - anyone know?

Thank you - glad it's at least a useful bonus part, though not sure why Tamiya just didn't put 'spare wing included' on the box rather than being so secretive of what it was

I actually like the Zahhak body. It's more realistic than the original 201-body and a lot of other realy ugly bodies (like ftw).
I have just ordered a TRF201 with "lightweight" version body and will trade it for an unpainted Zahhak body. Just sent me a pm.
