Default In need of a knight in shining armour...

Hi all,

Gutted. Just gutted. The day before my first race meet for 20 odd years, and I go and (I think) blow the capacitor on the speedo. Is there anyone at the club who would be willing to lend me a speedo (and soldering iron) for the day tomorrow?

I would be eternally greatful...

Steve

Failing the above, some advice? I had a puff of smoke from the speedo, when removed the car the positive connection to the capacitor had broken. Tried to solder it back again, but there is now no power going through to the ESC when connected. Is this terminal, or can I get another capacitor from somewhere? For info the ESC is a version 2 LRP SXX.

Cheers

Steve
