I usually get around 2 meetings to a set of schumacher's so I'll stick with Mat's tyres.

Me thinks pops is throttle happy...!
OF course..It was one of the guys at club(as in original reply) who ran them for one evening,3 q's and a final. very worn by the end of night but he was kinda bezerk with the throttle!(sorry bill)
I'm at silverstone this weekend so il judge them by my own experience.

Tried these tyres on shiny floor last week side by side with schumacher yellows... Their not far off but still not as much grip as the schumachers

Would be nice to see how they compare on astro turf...

we are thinking of running these as a control tyre at our club , its on polished wood and although they may not offer exactly the same amount of grip , its still very good and as they are £2 a pair cheaper its gotta be good for the club, some people put a set of other's on every 3 weeks so the savings would be substantial once we go back out doors.
wear rate at our club on these is very good, no worse than the alternative's

I used these at the silverstone weekender.
On the dry astroturf they gave plenty of grip.
Once it rained they were pretty hopeless.

I then ran them on grass at Hinckley and they worked very well (first time ive had two round wins for ages) They seemed to work just as well as Schumachers on fresh grass, although worn grass may be a different story.

Wear rate seems good and I think I will get another couple of meetings from the rears, and more from the fronts.

I would buy them again.

Finally got round to trying a set, they were actually pretty good, didnt have quite as much steering as mini spike yellows, but this can be got by changing the car setup.

Ran them for around 10-15mins and the spikes are still square on top and showing little signs of wear

With the summer coming, and a new outdoor venue becoming available to Irish racers, I'm looking at these tyres (principally the H-pattern and Block) as a potential hard pack dirt tyre. Has anyone tried them?

I note the premounts cost the same as the unmounted tyre (12mm hex - there are ways to get that on a B4 and similar!) - I saw a snippet about the offset being a touch wide, does anyone know more?
