So, the additional length is a cause of adding central diff. But, about the new driveshaft, could it be like two UJ at each end and a king of telescopic tube?
It would be really nice if we could upgrade a v4 to a v5 by using a longer chassis with sides and the central diff unit. I already design my own chassis using the desc diff. |

I'll be buying, looks like an interesting evolution of the existing cars. Can see 210 influences and parts. Plus it addresses some of the weaknesses of the existing car. And includes some nice extra features.

I genuinely think running a slipper and a centre diff is a good innovative idea, but its very confusing from the original marketing website what's included in the kit, what's optional, and what's in the photo.

It's all very simple, what's in the kit and what's in the photos is the same thing. Maybe the only thing that's optional, are the different length driveshafts for the rear multi-axle, only one length is included (60mm). 62.5mm and 65mm are optional (65mm are the ones that were included in the V4) and you only need the dogbones to chang this setting, the axles are able to fit all 3 dogbone lengths. You can also fit the "old" regular slipper or dual slipper units provided you buy the longer centre driveshafts and centre slipper mount for the 15mm bearing. Without a doubt this car is the most versatile on the market out of the box. It's without a doubt the most versatile 4WD on the market. |
