Default mad rat for local racing

hello.
i am looking for a cheap 2wd buggy for ocasional races at local tracks 80% indoors, so is the ansmann mad rat a good choice?
is durable and can be competitive?

For no many more you have the X pro with many option, like alu damper, ball bearing, ... and it's i thinks important for local race.
So if you can take it.

thank´s i will try to find the x pro.
in case of not get a cheap x pro what are the most important extras to get for the mad rat?

The most important is the ball bearing and dumper.
But like this you arrived at the x pro price.

I dont think the SC10 shocks will fit... If they are the same as the T4 ones then they are too long...

Bearings are a must on the madrat too

I got and SC10 and its shocks are too long. The Mad Rat is a great car, but needs some upgrades (mainly bearings and shocks). Now that JESPARES is sellying the Xpro at the best price ever (GBP 80) you don't have to buy a Mad Rat and upgrade it, just buy the Xpro and you'll have a perfect, race-ready car.
