Default HELP! Can I reverse this motor/ESC?

Guys, I've finally got my DEX410 ready for it's maiden run today.

But the motor spins the wrong way...

It's a Nosram Pearl Version 2 ESC and a Tekin Redline 6,5 motor. Can this be reversed? If so, how?

All help is highly appreciated!

Cheers

Could it be that your diffs are in the wrong way round?

Good question! So I can just reverse the diffs in the Durango?

(in the B44 there's a pin casted in the house to prevent this)

Thx!!!

Bolt heads on the diff casing should be down. There is a notch in the RR hanger to enable this, but it can be defeated (there is enough clearance, just, to wedge the diff in).

If the bolts are already down, there may be a different issue (either motor wiring, ESC set up or Tx set up)

Hmmm... have to check when I get home. But I'll bet I put the bolts on the upside... so that's probably the case then

Cheers

HAHA!

A guy at club had one in the right way and one in the wrong way!
strange effect when the front wheels go forward & the rears go backward.

When looking at either end of the car, The crown gear should be on the right.
Its easy to say put the bolts down, But you can put the bolts in from both sides

That motor/E.S.C should should work fine in stock setup

No you can't, one half of the casing has a clearance hole.

For the motor to turn the wrong way more likely the wiring is reversed IMO

I have all my cases bolted, I use a slightly longer screw that goes all the way through, Then an M3 nut on the top.

So screw fits both ways.

I use the bolts to hod the bearings better. I run the screw head up on the front to clear the front bulkhead, But screwhead down at the rear.

No, I'm 100% sure that's correct. My initial thought was:

The motor is on the opposite side compared to the B44 - which means it must be reversed.

But it's probably just the diffs, will find out tonight!

Thx for all the great help guys, forums like this are fantastic!

LOL! That's a new one!

I messed up real bad many years ago... indoor 1:12 track race. Put the car on the starting line... ready... go... full speed backwards into the pit... you don't scare the opposition with stunts like that

Did that on a Pred during a complete rushed rebuild at the track due to broken chassis.

The diffs were upside down, so all good now and I must say this thing is not the easiest to drive, but it sure turns and is fast!
