Is the 201 kit screw set titanium?

So glad to that Tamiya didn't waste time with the worthless cross head screws they shiped out with the db01!

Titanium screws are a option.
Those that come with the kit may not be cross head screws, but probably are not a very good quality either.

Never seen a TRF with philips screws? 511 has 4 (that secures hinge pins on each suspension arm) but rest of them are hex. Same on 201.

511 screws are better than the ones that came with the 501X.
I´ve have not had any problem with them.

Those are kit screws, black steel hex screws. The kit uses 8 tiny philips screws to capture hing pins. The lighting makes those screws look stainless but they are not.

I guess only Lee really knows so far, but does it drive as much like a B4 as it looks like one?, or is it more like a RB5 with a nicer rear end feel?

Really didn't like my B4, but I do like the look of this TRF

I assume it got the sharp steering without the hyperactive rear of the B4 then?
