NEVER charge at 7A. Please.

4.6A MAX.

4.0A is even better

Set you -dV as low as possible (3mV per cell if possible).

If your charger can limit the mAh input then set this to 100%

Set Max T to 55°C

If you have not charged in a week then equalize before charging if possible.

cheers for the info guys thought i would ask before charging them i have an lrp 2 charger set the mv as low as it will go once again cheers thought 7 amps was far too much

That's a load of crap, I never charge under 5.5A and never had a blow, If in a hurry I go up to 7.5A.

Just make sure your delta peak is set properly and you've equalised your cells, also make sure they don't go flat, if you're not using them for more than 2 weeks you'll probly want to put some charge bak in them. Then the day before you use them, give them a bit more charge, then discharge and put 1000 mAh in them, this way you'll wake them up and won't suffer a blow out.

Well thats up to you if you want to risk it, i certainly wouldnt recommend it though.

Have you seen a cell blow up from charging at over 5.5 amps.
I've had 1st hand experience at Oswestry national in 06. Charging at 5.5 amps cell lets go.
Sounded like a shotgun going off.
Lucky nobody was in my pit tent at the time. Wife and kids could off been in there.
Quite easily could of blinded or seriously injured 1 of them.
Would not like to pit next to you.
