Default Floating Spur?

Just been preparing my mi3.5 for round 1 of the new season and noticed the spur gear drops about 5mm under throttle. Is it meant to do this? The screws on each side of the spur seem tight.

Nope, not how it should be. Assuming bearings are ok, then only other thing is the screw that mounts the layshaft/post to the bulkhead.
