Yours looks top notch Dan

Talking My DEX210

Well guys finally got it finished,

Orion electrics, savox servo, few tresrey bits and lots of cream bits. R10 was a pig to install as being so big plus the capacitors. Have stuck with copper for spacers etc instead of the tresrey red for a different look.

Have done the high wing mod, using a LMR wing

And the final bit a PHAT bodies DEX210 smoothie painted by Mike Parker aka Number 5 designs. Is a same sort of design i ran on my ZX5 but with a twisy that only mike could do.

See it on its roof soon at either York or Worksop.

I love it and cannot wait to prop up those lower finals with it.

Talking of Smoothee's ... it's about time I got mine up, been through quite a few mid chassis now but reckon this one's a 'keeper'

Bare in mind Im finishing off building this ready to start off-road at the end of October

I've ordered a front brass suspension weight thingy, the nice orange spring adjusters and shock bottoms, alloy steering brace, Exotek rear hubs (they look good quality and strong), Tresrey red spacer kit (those plastic spacers are awful), some minipin tyres (will use them indoors at Maritime once the OR track is open), a Speed Passion V3 7.5t and Savox 1256 Servo. hoping all that lot will be here this week so I can finish off the shocks, get the tyres all mounted then just sort out my shell (got a proline jobby).

Pleased so far with the build, feels solid. Can't wait to get out on the track now!

Got some update bits through for DEX

Still got to build the shocks but have the Tamiya red O-rings to install along with Exotek orange alloy spring adjusters and end caps

Fitted the RDRP front brass bulkhead which does make the car feel more front to back balanced

Exotek steering link felt a must as the stock plastic part seemed 'bendy'

Exotek rear hub carriers and 14mm Tresrey hubs seem to look prefect on the car, plus fitted out the Tresrey spacer set on the car too, it feels alot more positive with the bones dropping nicely and steering feeling alot more free now

RW spur gears had to be done. The kit items felt very brittle and I found when the pinion was fitted they where off centre (mesh went loose to tight...but not now with the RW one's)

Overall I think im going to really enjoy getting this car out on a track soon.

Hi All,

I've attached pictures of my 2 bodyshells for my new DEX210.

Getting back in to RC after over 10yrs away so it's been a while since I last painted a bodyshell (A Tamiya TA03F Calibra in all black), so there are a couple of "slip ups" but thought I would show them anyway until I get the chassis built.
