Default S1 Cougar/ SX2 Cat

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has purchased the S1 modelof the cougar?
I am yet to find a picture of the finished article, anyone?

Does the S1 version of the cat come with tyres, like the previous model? I assume it comes with the original sx shocks?

From what i've been told, the S1 version of the CAT comes with the big bore shocks the only difference from the CF kit is the shock towers and the chassis, apparently it has more flex than the chassis in the CF kit.

Those shocks in the pictures posted from Carl, are they standard in the s1 kit?
Can some one confirm what shocks are actually supplied with the S1 in particular.
Help is appreciated!

the Cat has big bores Paul
product description on the schumacher site states that the only differences are the S1 material instead of carbon

the cougar S1 comes with order thin shocks, cheaper diff balls and S1 parts

I believe the S1 is more forgiving than the C/F for a club racer and I'm contemplating getting an S1 chassis and maybe the S1 top deck.

Reason i'm asking is i'm considering on getting a cougar, however i've not made my mind up and looking to see what to do!
i'm trying to work out which way it is beneficial, If i get an S1 and end up upgrading shocks I may as well just get the PRO version.. or does it? The cheaper s1 towers and parts make it more appealing.. but I dont want to be disadvantaged because I cheaped on 70 quid!

Decisions!!

the S1 spares are a lot cheaper!

big bores have appeared on here a few times for sale at less then the £80 new price.

You did and I haven't ordered a S1 SX2 chassis yet. Got a spare original S1 chassis in a mates garage. It's his, but he's now got a S1 SX2 chassis and top deck. Much difference between the two?

I'm planning on ordering the updated chassis etc this week ready for a return to racing the SX.

I've got the C/F SX2 chassis at the moment
