Default How To Remove Circlips Without Pliers

How can I remove circlips without circlip pliers on the cat sx diffs??

very difficult to do without damaging the c clip, if you have some strong tweezers this works, or some needle nose pliers and grind the tips with dremel to fit to holes!!

Without a doubt you need pliers!

Mine just arrived from an ebay vendor as schumacher never has the sodding things in stock.

I use some pointed ended tweezers, with the ends bent out a little. These worked for the older cats when they had circlips in, and work fine for the SX too.

I've straightened a paperclip and made a hook on one end, passed it through the hole and pulled really hard. Got it off when I put it in place and forgot to add the spacer first.
