Thanks for the info (& thanks for the response to my other post re not needing the fan in 2wd). I've read a few posts on here from guys saying that downloading firmware has knackered their Xcelorin speedos, so having not even used mine yet I'm a bit reluctant to do it!! Should I be concerned?

I don't see why you should be concerned, all of my speedos were upgraded today and all took the new firmware with no issues. The software is now a new programme, V2, and should be a lot better. When plugging in the speedo make sure the software says the ESC is connected and if you are concerned just keep an eye on it for a couple of mins and make sure it doesn't drop out before you d the upgrade, ive not that ive had that problem though.
I used the new software today in 2wd and it makes the speedo feel much nicer and has sorted out any of my previous issues. Ian |

I have tried but failed the software is in my documents but when I try to install it my computer blocks the install so I cant update firmware if that makes sence. I think it is my anti virus from AVG but I cant turn it off so I will keep it as it is unless one of you computer people can help cheers.

I would not post if it was not a genuine occurance, the fact that it also happened to another user at my club, totally independently, gave me reason to post. Just downloaded the new software and the new firmware, will try the new firmware upload during the week and if everything goes OK will post to that fact
