Default esc-fan propperly wired?

Hey

I recently bought a second-hand esc. Its a Nosram matrix evo spec racing with optional heatsink and fan mounted.

While installing i noticed that the little 30ish-mm fan is wired directly to the positive and negative sockets for the battery.
So basicly the fan gets its power directly from the 5Amp 30c 2s lipo im running. I don't know any more about the fan, it doesnt have a sticker on it or something that would tell me how much volt it needs.

1. Question:
Can i leave it like this? Or will the little fan eventually burn out.
2. Question:
Can i rewire the fan to a empty reciever slot and it'll do?

Default

safest option is to wire to spare RX slot as you planned

if you leave wired direct it may be ok but as you dont know operating voltage it may burn out if its only a 5v fan
