I bought it from an guy in sweden that used to drive for kyosho.
Any way he was clearing some stuff out and found this he say that he got it from kyosho back in the days so i´ll guess its an kyosho body but not really sure.

Basicly it is an zxr body with an inbuilt gearcover its not an wasp since the wasp body look more like the hunchback.

When you have an body and an gearcover on the car this is what it looks like that makes it funny.

Iso,

Its not Kyosho and yes its good. I had a couple of these in the early 90's. Definately get Kamtec to do one, and that will resolve all issues people have with no gear covers.

Welsh you can clearly see that its no wasp.

yeah i think i will email keith about it .

Since the cutting linas are clearly visiable and the body is uncut it should be an easy job for keith to do it.

I had that body back in the 90's too - wasn't it made by Racecraft?? (That certainly rings a bell anyway)!

Rings a bell here, quite possibly. I had Wasp and another that resembled this but the name I could'nt remember. This was far superior to the wasp design as the wasp design damaged the spur due to its design but this was a better solution. Great design and looks very good.

Have emailed kamtec about it, i hope to get an reply soon.

I think it looks kind of cool since it looks like the original with an gearcover but it aint.

welsh the suspension arms (wishbone ) are in the post system so i´ll guess they will soon come here, i hope they do look good.

Welsh since i handed my zxr over to him ages ago it seams its the first in line i hope it wont take that long for them to be made as my zxr and gearcover.

But then again my zxr was not the best object to begin with since it was cut and it missed an window due to owner before think it lacked some cooling i guess.

Anyway you look at it the future is looking brighter regarding avaliablity of different bodies for the lazer.

Iso,

I know and that was the plan from the very start. It has taken me a long time to get this happening, and it all started with Fibre-lyte in 1991. It took time to find the correct shell maker (the one in Spain I was intending to use closed), and everything else but my intention was to make it easier for every single Lazer ZX/ZXR/ZXS owner to be able to still run these cars without the worry of not having any spares readily available.

Now its gonna be fun on the track. Its nice seeing the hard work pay off.

I will contact Keith today and see what he says. Im in need of a few things as well but lets hope he gets these sorted. I know he was having problems with your ZXR as it wasnt perfect.

Guys,

I have had a chat with Keith from Kamtec and he has told me that he will try and complete the ZXR and Tomcat molds within the next two weeks (I hope he can). When he has done the Tomcat I will be getting the first one so will update all on it. Ace!!!
